cal_tables -- Edit the parameter set that specifies calibration files to be used.

cal_tables

DESCRIPTION

The cal_tables parameters specify the High Speed Photometer (HSP) calibration tables to be used by many hsp tasks.

Note that this is a pset, not an executable task; it defines a set of parameters used by other tasks. Invoking the pset by name runs eparam on the parameter set, allowing the user to modify the parameters. Alternatively, the parameters may be modified on the command line by specifying the pset name and parameter name, for example, the user can type "cal_tables.ccp1=ccp1file" to set only the ccp1 parameter. Parameters can also be edited by using eparam on the calling task (e.g., by typing "eparam darkv"), in which case, cal_tables will appear as one of the task parameters; the cal_tables parameters may then be edited by positioning the cursor on the line containing the pset name and typing ":e". After editing the pset parameters, type Control-Z (or :q) to return to the main task parameter menu.

PARAMETERS

(ccp0) [file name]
Name of the aperture area calibration table, which has the following columns:

'APER_NAME'     The "regular" aperture name (char*10).
'APER_SIZE'     Area of aperture in square arc seconds (real).
(ccp1) [file name]
Name of the high voltage factor calibration table, which has the following columns:

'DET_NUM'       Detector ID (int).
'VOLTAGE'       High voltage setting (real).
'TYPE'          Data type (char*7).
'A00', 'A01', ..., 'A33'
                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).
'BASE_VALUE'    Base value of the calibration (real).
(ccp2) [file name]
Name of the gain factor calibration table, which has the following columns:

'DET_NUM'       Detector ID (int).
'VGAIND'        Gain setting (real).
'A00', 'A01', ..., 'A33'
                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).
'BASE_VALUE'    Base value of the calibration (real).
(ccp3) [file name]
Name of the pre-amp noise calibration table, which has the following columns:

'DET_NUM'       Detector ID (int).
'TYPE'          Data type (char*7).
'A00', 'A01', ..., 'A33'
                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).
'BASE_VALUE'    Base value of the calibration (real).
(ccp4) [file name]
Name of the relative sensitivity calibration table, which has the following columns:

'APER_NAME'     Aperture name (char*10).
'A00', 'A01', ..., 'A33'
                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).
'BASE_VALUE_P'  Base value of the point source relative 
                sensitivity (real).
'BASE_VALUE_E'  Base value of the extended source relative 
                sensitivity (real).
(ccp5) [file name]
Name of the dark signal calibration table, which has the following columns:

'APER_NAME'     Aperture name (char*10).
'VOLTAGE'       High voltage setting (real).
'TYPE'          Data type (char*7).

                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).

Name of the CVC offset calibration table, which has the following columns:

'DET_NUM'       Detector ID (int).
'VGAIND'        Gain setting (real).

                Calibration polynomial coefficients (real).
'BASE_TIME'     Reference epoch in modified Julian date (double).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).

Name of the dead time calibration table, which has the following columns:

'DET_NUM'       Detector ID (int).
'VOLTAGE'       High voltage setting (real).
'THRESH'        Pulse discriminator threshold setting (real).
'BASE_VALUE'    Base value of the calibration (real).
'A1'            Temperature dependent coefficient (real).
'BASE_TEMP'     Reference temperature in degrees Celsius (real).
(ccp9) [file name]
Name of the dark aperture translation table, which has the following columns:

'APER_NAME'     The "regular" aperture name (char*10).
'DARK_APER'     The "dark" aperture name (char*10).
