flvmask -- Apply a mask table to an image.
flvmask input intable output
This task reads a mask table created by the flmakev task and either interpolates or extrapolates along vertical lines (that's what the V means) within the masked regions of the input image. The table is expected to contain the columns x, ylow, and yhigh. Each row of the table specifies a vertical strip from [x,ylow] to [x,yhigh] that is to be filled in. If the strip extends from the bottom to the top of the image, a warning message is printed and the strip is not changed. If ylow=1, the strip is filled with the value at pixel [x,yhigh+1]. If yhigh is equal to the height of the image, the strip is filled with the value at pixel [x,ylow-1]. Otherwise, the pixels are filled in with the values of a straight line going from [x,ylow-1] to [x,yhigh+1].
If the input and output names are the same, or if the output name is null, the output will replace the input.
