NAME

modeone -- Restore and display a 96 x 64 FOS Mode I image.

USAGE

modeone input output_y output_x

DESCRIPTION

The modeone task is a script that calls the tarestore task to reconstruct an FOS Mode I picture for target acquisition and then displays the input image and both output images. The final restored image has the FOS apertures, a scale, and the orientation of the aperture on the sky (as given by the header keyword, pangaper) superimposed on the image. The display task in the tv package is used to display the images. Parameters affecting display should be adjusted before running the modeone script. The superimposed markings are produced using the tvmark task.

PARAMETERS

input [file name]
Input Mode I target acquisition image. May be either a raw (d0h) image with dimensions of 96 x 64 or a calibrated (c1h) image with 64 groups of 96 pixels each.
output_y [file name]
Output image from restoration in the Y-direction.
output_x [file name]
Output image from restoration in both the Y- and X-directions.

EXAMPLES

1. Restore the calibrated Mode I target acquisition observation, y00vk10hr.c1h, producing the intermediate Y-restored image, 10h_y.hhh, and the final X- and Y- restored image, 10h_xy.hhh and display them.

  fo> modeone y00vk10hr.c1h 10h_y.hhh 10h_xy.hhh
