nicskydark -- Make a sky/dark frame from a set of observations

USAGE

PARAMETERS

inputimages =
List of input raw images.
finalimage =
Output sky+dark image rootname. ".fits" will be appended. Sigma file, and .pl file listing # of rejected pixels will also be created.

Root name for intermediate files.

Delete the intermediate files when they are nolonger needed? Unless you are very confident of the reduction, "no" is recommended.

Subtract zeroth read.

Set levels for masks from *_flt files that were produced in a previous reduction with nicfast or nicreduce.

DESCRIPTION

This script median combines a set of dithered multiaccum sequences to make a (sky+dark) frame. Objects are masked out by setting thresholds on reduced images from either nicfast or nicreduce.
