omarkpars -- Edit the object list marking parameters

USAGE

omarkpars

PARAMETERS

objmark = yes

Enable object list marking on the image display ?

ocharmark = "plus"

The mark to be drawn. The options are: "point", "box", "cross", "plus", "circle", "diamond", and "shape". If the "shape" option is selected, the object and sky regions are outlined on the image display.

onumber = no

Number the marked objects ?

opcolormark = "green"

The color of the marked object region. The options are "red", "blue", "green", and "yellow".

oscolormark = "blue"

The color of the marked object sky region. The options are "red", "blue", "green", and "yellow".

osizemark = 5.(iscale units)

The object mark half-width in scale units if ocharmark is not equal to "shape". If osizemark is INDEF the half-width is set to the impars.ihwhmpsf parameter.

otolerance = 5.(iscale units)

The position matching tolerance for selecting an object from the object list with the image cursor.

DESCRIPTION

The omarkpars parameters control the object marking and interactive object selection routines. The default mark size osizemark and object matching tolerance otolerance scale with the image scale defined by the impars.iscale parameter.

If objmark is "yes", the object is marked on the image display using the mark type specified by ocharmark , the colors specified by opcolormark and oscolormark , and the size specified by osizemark . Object numbering can be enabled by setting onumber to "yes".

If ocharmark is "shape" but the list object or sky geometry is undefined then objects and offset sky position are marked with a "plus".

EXAMPLES

1. List the omarkpars parameters.

xa> lpar omarkpars

2. Edit the omarkpars parameters.

xa> omarkpars

3. Edit the omarkpars parameters and run xguiphot.

xa> epar xguiphot

... edit a few xguiphot parameters

... move to the omarkpars parameter and type :e

... edit the omarkpars parameters and type :q

... finish editing the other pset and task parameters
	
... type :go to run xguiphot

4. Save the current omarkpars parameter set in a text file omarknite1.par.

xa> omarkpars

... edit some parameters

... type ":w omarknite1.par"  from within epar
