The report Providing Updated Image Shifts to PyDrizzle (PDF) can be downloaded as of 11 Apr 2003. This report provides the description of the shiftfile which PyDrizzle's buildasn task, used by Multidrizzle, uses when building ASN tables. Definitions of terms and conventions used for reporting the shifts in the shiftfile, along with an example of generating and applying the shifts with PyDrizzle, form the basis of this report. It is a critical document for anyone interested in correcting the shifts computed by PyDrizzle based on the WCS header information. |
