The stistools package holds Python tasks useful for analyzing STIS data.
Although these tasks are normally run via the STSDAS interface, they may be
used directly.

These tasks include:
  mktrace - Refine a STIS trace table.
  sshift - Align the spectra in different flat-fielded images of an IMSET.
  stisnoise - Remove fixed pattern noise from STIS images.
  wx2d  - Resample a 2-D image in the Y direction, based on spectral trace.

Utility and library functions used by these tasks are also included in this
module.
